Hi, I am Ying

I started my Product Designer career in April 2017. I’ve designed user experiences for enterprise software products and Fintech applications.

I am particularly interested in connecting the dots and finding out “whys”–via user research, intentional prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration.

I am a big advocate of Design Thinking. I regularly facilitated Design Thinking Training for new hires at Copperleaf.

I have been on my Toastmasters journey since early 2019.

I was born and raised in China. I moved to Vancouver in 2010 for my master’s and stayed here ever since. Outside of work, I am a nature lover, cyclist, yogi, runner, and psychology enthusiast.
